#1

There aren't many words to express how powerful today's dedication was!! There's absolutely nothing like seeing our entire church body unified together in one service, worshipping one God, and dedicating ourselves to one cause!

One of my favorite memories of our first service at "Milestone 4.0" if you will, was when the worship team walked out onto the stage for our first worship set. There was SO much energy & excitement. Everyone was so expectant for God to move and for people to start being reached at our new location! The auditorium was filled with sons & daughters of the house, and I was overcome by how faithful He proved Himself!!

Although today seemed like this is as good as it gets, the calling that God has placed on our church declares that the best is YET TO COME!!!! And THAT'S the exciting part!!!

All glory to God! Every single bit.

it...is...finished!!!! :)

Super day. It was our last weekend @ 2040 Willis Ln.

Here are my top 5 "no more's"...
5. No more walking onto the stage from the congregation/walking through the congregation after worship to get to the back.
4. No more venturing into the creepy closet upstairs to turn on the projector.
3. No more YELLOW WALLS!!!!
2. No more stinky sound system.
1. No more hiding under the shadow of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

I don't want to sound stuck-up or snobby at all, but God's called us to a new level, and i'm stoked about it!! Being able to be a part of something that involves life-transformation is so exhilarating! Today, during 3rd service worship, I was overcome realizing how God brought me from where I was 2 1/2 years ago to where I am today. I most definitely have a long way to go, but I'm trying to remain coachable and always learning. I love spending time with Pastor Steve, PJ, Pastor T, Eddie, and all the guys at church--just watching how they do life, how they handle situations, how they answer phone calls from their wives, how they interact with each other, etc... almost like a child. So, back to the service... I was standing there singing, and I closed my eyes and just listened to the congregation sing. It was awesome. There was such an excitement in the air!!!!

I'm SUPER excited about our first service on Keller Pkwy next weekend, and WAY stoked about Easter. There are some really cool creative elements we're adding into the service for Easter, and I can't wait to see how God uses it all. It's gonna be SWEET!! Here are a couple of screenshots of what we shot on Friday that's getting incorporated into Easter weekend...

So... all in all, super weekend. God is SO good!

closer to the start of our lives...

"We're closer to the start of our lives.
The past is just a preview, our eyes will see the brand new.
We're closer to the start of our lives..."

Well, I'm gonna [try to] be disciplined in my bloggishness this time around. I've been debating on whether or not I had time for it, but I came to the conclusion that WHO THE CRAP DOES?! Nobody really has time for it, but everybody still does it...especially moms and newlyweds. I think eventually I'll probably start doing a video blog once a week or something. I mean, I know my life is like REALLY exciting to everyone, and everyone's tracking my every move (on facebook). So, I think I'm gonna try to stay committed to this thing, even if I'm the only one who reads it. I'm a believer in journaling, so it might as well be in electronic form like everything else...

[BTW, I'm sitting in the starbucks in Southlake Town Center, and its oddly intriguing to me to watch people walk in here and get absolutely peee o'd about silly, silly things like 2 people in line (like that's long!), and not enough caramel in their frap. Whiney, whiney people that need Jesus.)

5 Things I'm pumped about...
1. One Look Challenge launch tonight/tomorrow
2. Only 21 days until MSC is at 801 Keller Pkwy
3. dinner
4. workout w/Lukr tonight
5. ITS FRIDAY!!!

Gotta get... I'm about to head to downtown ftw to pick up a 26 ft banner.

CRAP on traffic!!
